Assembley Technician

Assembler Technician $20/hr 1st Shift Poway Responsibilities + Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering necessary parts, tools, and materials. + Assemble component parts to meet company and customer specifications, adhering to quality and productivity standards. + Assemble shocks, sub-assemblies, or hose assemblies according to approved drawings or visual aids. + Operate machines and use hand/power tools such as pneumatic press, torque wrench, and drill. + Operate a circular saw for cutting hose assemblies based on blueprint specifications. + Clean and prepare parts and sub-assemblies for assembly. + Recommend changes for process or quality improvements. + Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety and environmental policies. + Perform visual and mechanical inspections of parts and assemblies for defects. + Report quality issues to lead or supervisor for further action. + Maintain work area in an orderly condition and ensure all housekeeping activities are completed. + Exhibit integrity and maintain accountability for performance. Essential Skills + Minimum of 1 year hands-on experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly line. + Must be able to follow blueprints/drawings + Will be measuring in millimeters. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand on feet for the full shift. + Basic knowledge of hand tools.
