Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) RN u2013 Palo Alto, CA Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) RN for a leading Bay Area healthcare organization in Palo Alto, California . This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated RN with cardiology nursing experience to provide high-quality, evidence-based care in a fast-paced, critical care environment. Job Summary As a CVICU RN, you will provide comprehensive care to patients recovering from cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries or experiencing complex cardiovascular conditions. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and family-centered care. Pay - The anticipated wage for this position is between $ 81.00 and $ 96.00 Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors. Key Responsibilities + Monitor and assess critically ill cardiovascular patients, including post-surgical and complex cardiac cases + Administer medications, blood products, and advanced therapies safely and according to protocol + Manage hemodynamic monitoring, ventilators, and other critical care equipment + Respond quickly to emergencies, including code situations and rapid deterioration + Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans + Provide patient and family education on post-operative care, cardiac health, and self-management + Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record + Mentor and support less experienced staff or new team members as needed + Promote patient safety, infection control, and adherence to hospital policies and standards Required Qualifications + Active CA RN license + Current American Heart Association BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification + Minimum 3 years of cardiology nursing experience + Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment Education + Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred Preferred Qualifications + Outpatient or clinic experience in addition to inpatient CVICU experience.
