Job Title: Electrical Junior Mechanic Job Description We are seeking a skilled Electrical Junior Mechanic to oversee electrical installations and ensure high-quality work on various projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in wiring, lighting, and panel installations, and will be responsible for ensuring the completion of projects within set timelines. Responsibilities + Wire and install lighting, panels, and electrical boxes. + Run and bend conduit for electrical systems. + Install boxes and outlets for various voltage systems ranging from 120 to 480 volts. + Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure proper functionality. + Read and interpret blueprints to guide installations. Essential Skills + 3-6 years of experience in electrical installations. + Proficient in conduit bending and electrical troubleshooting. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + OSHA 30 certification. + Owns hand tools and a cordless drill. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in bending pipe. + Strong understanding of electrical systems and installations. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, primarily at office buildings in Long Island. The role requires a hands-on approach, with a focus on precise and efficient electrical installations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hauppauge, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
