Job Title: Quality Inspector Job Description The Quality Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality. This position involves general floor inspection, reading blueprints, and using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to perform both visual and manual inspections. Responsibilities + Conduct general floor inspections to ensure product quality. + Read and interpret blueprints to understand product specifications. + Utilize precision inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and micro gauges. + Perform first and last piece inspections to verify product conformity. + Execute visual and manual inspections to detect any defects or inconsistencies. Essential Skills + Proficiency in quality inspection techniques. + Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and gauges effectively. + Strong skills in visual and manual inspection. + Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in plastic injection molding is a plus. + Familiarity with first article and last article inspection processes. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a well-maintained, air-conditioned plant, keeping the atmosphere cool. However, due to the presence of machinery, some areas might be warm. The shop is open, promoting a team-oriented atmosphere. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port Richey, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
