Equipment Service Technician $26-$30/hr Fredericktown, OH Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Equipment Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. In this role, you will support all aspects of daily production operations, including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance activities, and repair work. Your contributions will be critical in ensuring machine efficiency and minimizing downtime. Responsibilities + Work closely with production members to complete job assignments in a timely manner. + Support production with planned and unplanned work activities as assigned. + Handle all types of machine breakdown repairs, including hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, ladder logic, and numerical controls. + Collaborate directly with Team Leaders to improve production downtime and efficiency. + Participate in shift meetings and other meetings as assigned. + Engage in all training activities required to improve and master job duties. + Perform robot recovery and support robot training activities when requested. + Assist with new model activities as assigned. + Communicate effectively for shift pass down information, including production equipment daily performance and machine breakdown follow-up. + Complete equipment preventive maintenance as assigned. + Support environmental improvement activities. + Execute other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Electrical troubleshooting, including 480 V 3-phase systems. + Mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics knowledge. + Experience with PLC troubleshooting and control. + Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints. + Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining Fanuc robotics. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Technical High School Education or equivalent experience. + Minimum of 1-3 years of manufacturing experience is preferred. + Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and ERP systems like Plex. + Mechanical aptitude and strong diagnostic skills. + Familiarity with OHSA regulations. + Ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations. + Self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude. + Excellent time management and prioritization skills. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fredericktown, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.60 - $28.60/hr.
