Description We are looking for an experienced Credit and Collections Supervisor/Manager to join our team in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania. In this contract-to-permanent position, you will oversee credit evaluations, collections processes, and billing operations while fostering strong customer relationships. This role is ideal for someone with a background in credit management, excellent analytical skills, and experience in the construction or building materials industry. Responsibilities: u2022 Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers to minimize financial risk. u2022 Manage collections processes, including maintaining detailed payment histories and resolving past-due accounts. u2022 Supervise the billing cycle to ensure accuracy and efficiency, addressing any discrepancies promptly. u2022 Analyze and maintain billing data to ensure integrity and identify opportunities for process improvement. u2022 Lead and mentor a team of billing specialists, setting priorities and monitoring performance. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams such as finance, sales, and operations to align credit and billing processes. u2022 Prepare detailed reports on billing and collections performance, presenting metrics to stakeholders. u2022 Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and leverage technology effectively. u2022 Respond to inquiries regarding billing, payment status, and credit evaluations. u2022 Ensure compliance with construction lien laws and bond claim practices. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit and collections management within the construction or building materials industry. u2022 Expertise in credit evaluation and collections practices, including familiarity with construction lien laws. u2022 Proficiency in accounting software such as Microsoft D365 or Salesforce, along with Microsoft Office tools. u2022 Proven leadership abilities with experience managing and motivating teams. u2022 Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to mitigate financial risk. u2022 Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. u2022 Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadlines. u2022 Valid driveru2019s license required.
