Description We are looking for a highly experienced VP/Director of Finance to lead the financial operations of our organization in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania. This executive role is critical in guiding strategic financial decisions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing asset management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial leadership, banking regulations, and operational controls, contributing significantly to the organization's success. Responsibilities: u2022 Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including performance reviews, trend assessments, and forecasting to aid strategic planning. u2022 Prepare, present, and maintain accurate financial reports for senior management and the board of directors. u2022 Ensure compliance with all federal and state banking regulations, including the timely submission of required regulatory documents. u2022 Oversee daily cash management operations, liquidity planning, and cash flow optimization. u2022 Manage the organizationu2019s fixed asset portfolio, including acquisitions, depreciation schedules, and disposals. u2022 Supervise accounts payable and payroll functions to ensure precision, timeliness, and adherence to company policies. u2022 Reconcile general ledger accounts regularly, addressing and resolving discrepancies promptly. u2022 Monitor and manage the organizationu2019s investment portfolio, aligning with risk tolerance and return objectives. u2022 Lead the annual budgeting process, providing variance analyses and recommending cost control measures throughout the year. u2022 Chair the Asset/Liability Committee to oversee interest rate risk, liquidity risk, and capital adequacy management. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. u2022 At least 7 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles, preferably within the financial services industry. u2022 In-depth knowledge of banking regulations and financial systems. u2022 Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively. u2022 Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills. u2022 Expertise in annual budgeting, month-end close processes, and financial reporting. u2022 Proven experience with cash flow forecasting and budget management. u2022 Strong understanding of asset/liability management and interest rate risk strategies.
