Hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician Near You The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance across buildings, grounds, and equipment. This role requires hands-on expertise in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems, along with general construction skills. Pay: Up to $35/hour Shift: Day Shift Responsibilities + Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and commercial mechanical systems. + Perform painting, carpentry, masonry, and general construction tasks. + Change office setups and assist with office furniture installations and inventory. + Operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and snow removal equipment such as plows, blowers, and shovels. + Be available for emergency maintenance as needed. + Manage projects using plans and drawings; maintain tools and material stock. + Respond to Facilities Help Desk requests and perform preventive maintenance. + Maintain accurate repair records and documentation.
