Engineering Practice Leader

Job Description u00b7 Supporting project and business development activities, proposal and budget development, strategic planning, building relationships with existing and potential clients, and managing client interaction; u00b7 Provide high level consultation to clients; u00b7 Manage and develop staff, inclusive of staff training/mentorship and development; u00b7 Manage geotechnical and construction inspection projects; u00b7 Geotechnical engineering including coordination and supervising SPT boring and rock core drilling, subsurface evaluations and preparation of geotechnical subsurface investigation reports, foundation evaluation (e.g., foundation types, bearing capacities, settlement analyses, etc.), slope stability evaluation, flexible and rigid pavements; u00b7 Construction inspection and testing (soil, concrete, masonry, structural steel, spray applied fire proofing, etc.), preparation/review of field reports, geotechnical field consulting, and evaluation of adverse earthwork conditions; u00b7 Manage our geotechnical laboratory and able to conduct laboratory testing; Periodic travel to project sites for meetings, audits, or other activities.
