Learn about the Trident II D5 Fleet Ballistic Missile As a Project Engineer, you will: u2022 Serve as a Junior Project lead by planning technical work scope, actively managing budget, schedule, and execution. u2022 Ensure control accounts are completed with acceptable Cost, Schedule, and Risk to meet sales and revenue goals by communicating and providing leadership and customers with accurate and up to date status u2022 Manage a geographically distributed multi-disciplinary team to deliver on established programmatic commitments. u2022 Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of Engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility u2022 Ensure engineering is coordinated across program and suppliers u2022 Support ad hoc tasking by program management leaders Basic Qualifications: u2022 Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education u2022 Experience in budget development or management u2022 US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance Desired Skills: Desired skills : u2022 Master's degree in a Business or Engineering field u2022 Project management Certification (PMP) u2022 Experience throughout engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test and operational deployment) u2022 Experience with technical integration and systems engineering. u2022 Prior experience with Agile project implementation u2022 Prior CAM (control account management) experience u2022 Experience leading / integrating solutions for geographically disperse teams u2022 Experience leading cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, with the ability to lead multi-functional teams, build strong relationships with team members and build consensus among peers u2022 Familiarity with Navy Strategic System Partners (SSP) Customer u2022 Missile or space segment design, test and production experience with one or more subsystems u2022 DoD TS clearance Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
