Service Technician

Job Title: Service Technician Job Description As a Shop Technician, you will perform various testing, repair, and maintenance activities on forklifts and other equipment under the guidance of a supervisor. You will have the opportunity to enhance your skills through training classes and contribute positively to the dealership's customer experience while collaborating effectively with all departments. Responsibilities + Diagnose unit problems accurately. + Attend and participate in all service-related meetings. + Complete and submit paperwork to the Service Manager in a timely manner, ensuring it is legible, complete, and includes customer signatures on required documents. + Submit paperwork with detailed data from unit diagnosis, explaining faults found and listing safety and mechanical issues, ensuring this information is shared with the customer and confirmed by their signature. + Communicate regularly with the Service Manager, Parts Department, and CSS to build and maintain reliable, positive relationships. + Support the Parts Department by allowing time for stock order parts, providing correct unit and attachment information for ordering, maintaining organized shop inventory, and utilizing critical parts orders promptly.
