Facility Maintenance Manager

Description We are looking for an experienced Facility Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and engineering operations at our facility in Radford, Virginia. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability of equipment, adherence to safety standards, and efficient use of resources. You will lead a team of skilled professionals and collaborate across departments to support production goals and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities: u2022 Develop and execute a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to ensure the optimal performance of machinery and equipment. u2022 Manage repair activities and troubleshoot issues to minimize operational downtime. u2022 Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance production processes and drive operational efficiency. u2022 Lead facility upgrade, renovation, and expansion projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards. u2022 Supervise, train, and mentor a team of maintenance and engineering staff, fostering a culture of safety and collaboration. u2022 Prepare, monitor, and manage the maintenance and engineering budget to ensure cost-effective operations. u2022 Evaluate and procure tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for facility operations. u2022 Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. u2022 Maintain accurate documentation for regulatory compliance and reporting purposes. u2022 Communicate effectively with upper management and cross-functional teams regarding facility performance and improvement strategies. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field. u2022 At least 7 years of experience in facility maintenance and engineering, preferably in a manufacturing setting. u2022 Strong expertise in machinery, equipment, and maintenance practices. u2022 Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively. u2022 Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills. u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. u2022 Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite. u2022 Familiarity with applicable regulatory requirements and standards.
