Job Description Insight Global is looking to hire a Software Acquisition Execution SME for one of our clients, sitting in Alexandria, VA. This individual will engage and mentor program managers in using the SWP to improve DoD software procurements as part of the acquisition transformation strategy for a DoW client. On a day to day basis, this individual will provide technical analyses, assessments, recommendations, and implementation strategies for software acquisition across the department. Compensation: $95/hr to $105/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: Skills and Requirements -u2003Active TS/SCI security clearance and a Bacheloru2019s Degree and 7 years of experience; should 15-20 year -u20037+ years of experience executing DoW software acquisition efforts in a PEO, program office, or program management function on the performer side, including analyzing and implementing policy documents, developing and executing software acquisition or procurement strategies, preparing and monitoring agile or DevSecOps project plans, generating and tracking software budgets, and preparing decision briefs and information papers -u2003Experience developing executable, modular application programming interface (API) architecture software such as implementing modular API architecture features, including scalability, flexibility, interoperability, reusability, and ease of integration -u2003Experience engaging, aligning, monitoring, analyzing, reporting on, supporting, or guiding software programs, pilots, or pathfinders, including collection and use of modern software metrics (especially in the SDLC process) -u2003Ability to work independently, creatively, and analytically in a problem-solving environment, anticipate client and stakeholder requirements, engage proactively, and work with minimum oversight or direction -u2003Experience developing and supporting the collection of metrics appropriate to assess the cost efficiency, effectiveness, and implementation of modern software acquisition and agile and DevSecOps approaches throughout the DoW -u2003Experience with DoD adaptive acquisition framework processes and policies and assisting with developing required program documentation and strategic-level recommendations according to DoW regulations and directives -u2003Experience working as part of a cross-functional delivery team, integrating and incorporating detailed technical data from multiple team members into executive-level decision-making products, and communicating the findings, insights, and recommendations to senior-level clients effectively -u2003Experience with analytical activities for U.S. government acquisition programs, including stakeholder requirements definition, requirements analysis, test and evaluation, trade studies, or architecture design per U.S. government processes -u2003Experience writing and synthesizing data from multiple sources into comprehensive technical documents that are easy to comprehend -u2003Knowledge of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) or Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes
