Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Troutman, North Carolina. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing invoicing, payments, and collections processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage daily accounts receivable operations, including processing invoices and payments. u2022 Oversee commercial collections activities to ensure timely and accurate resolution. u2022 Handle cash applications efficiently to maintain accurate financial records. u2022 Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure compliance with company policies. u2022 Execute billing functions with precision and attention to detail. u2022 Collaborate with other departments to address discrepancies and improve processes. u2022 Maintain organized documentation for all accounts receivable transactions. u2022 Provide regular reports and updates to management regarding AR performance. u2022 Assist with audits and compliance reviews related to accounts receivable. u2022 Identify opportunities to streamline AR operations and enhance efficiency. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections. u2022 Strong knowledge of commercial collections and cash application procedures. u2022 Excellent organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. u2022 Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools. u2022 Ability to communicate professionally with clients and internal teams. u2022 Problem-solving skills to address discrepancies and payment issues effectively. u2022 Familiarity with billing functions and financial documentation standards. u2022 Experience in the agriculture industry is a plus but not required.
