If you have ample calibration experience, honor work-life balance, and desire to grow with a company that promotes from within, explore the professional advantages this opportunity can deliver Necessary Skills and Strengths: Calibration Preventive Maintenance Loop Checks Pressure/Temp/pH Test Equipment OSHA 10/30 Core Experience: - 2+ years of calibration experience - Experience with manufacturing equipment - Pharmaceutical or Military experience preferred but not required - Experience with calibration including loop checks (preferred but not required), humidity, temperature and pH checks - Experience with process equipment, utilities, manufacturing, and some lab instruments - OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (preferred but provided if needed) - Experience with 4-20mA transmitters (loop calibrations) (preferred but not required) Responsibilities of this Role: Calibration Technicians complete calibrations, qualifications, and PMs with accurate and timely GxP documentation, following company or client-specific policies and procedures. With minor supervision, complete calibrations, qualifications, and PMs with accurate and timely GxP documentation, following company or client-specific policies and procedures, in a safe manner. With guidance, perform flow, conductivity, pH, mass, and dimensional calibrations. Handle and maintain company and client equipment, including testing and standards equipment. Learn to troubleshoot and perform repairs, with the majority of work focused on scheduled calibrations and maintenance events. Proactively assess project safety concerns and ensure team members comply with all client site safety requirements. Strategically assess client environments, needs, and requirements to develop and initiate effective solutions, delivering successful execution through established solid relationships with clients. Skills Calibration, Troubleshooting, Instrumentation, Manufacturing Top Skills Details Calibration,Troubleshooting,Instrumentation,Manufacturing Additional Skills & Qualifications A two-year degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Electronics, other related technical field or equivalent military training and two years of applicable (Metrology, Instrumentation, Calibration) experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Quality System / Pharmaceutical experience is preferred. Expanded understanding of Traceability, Substitution of Standards, and Test Accuracy and Uncertainty Ratios. u2022 Expanded understanding of calibration concepts and requirements including accuracy testing requirements. u2022 Able to make independent decisions within defined scope of work, seeks clarification and directions when needed. Must be self-driven and demonstrate ability to work with little direction. u2022 Basic understanding and application of GMP's and Life Science Industry regulations. u2022 Basic understanding and application of instrument, equipment, and loop calibrations of various parameters in manufacturing, utilities, and laboratory environments. u2022 Excellent communication and problem solving skills with clients and coworkers. u2022 Thorough electrical panel knowledge and safety practices. Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Concord, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
