Job Title: Maintenance Electrician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Electrician to troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain a variety of building, mechanical, and electrical systems. You will work from work orders, wiring diagrams, schematics, and codes to ensure systems are functioning optimally. Responsibilities + Plan and execute equipment repair and modification needs from work order drawings or verbal instructions. + Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, perform electrical tests, disassemble equipment, replace defective parts, reassemble, and test. + Install and modify equipment in compliance with codes and process requirements, including pulling wires, bending conduit, and making connections. + Prepare and design electrical, air, and gas distribution lines for new equipment installation. + Redesign circuits as necessary and modify or prepare wiring diagrams to document changes. + Test, repair, and replace defective parts and components like motors, clutches, and gear trains. + Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities and recommend necessary maintenance actions. + Direct helpers on repair projects and assist in training departmental employees. + Repair equipment parts and structures using brazing and welding techniques. + Specify and order materials necessary for project completion. + Utilize pneumatic tools, grease guns, painting tools, forklifts, multi-meters, and common hand tools. + Follow safety rules and maintain a clean and orderly work area. Essential Skills + 5+ years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment. + Proficiency in using a CMMS system. + Basic use of hand tools and measuring and inspecting equipment. + Ability to read electrical schematics and understand ladder logic and PLCs. + Experience with troubleshooting motor controls, including 480v 3 phase, servos, AC/DC. + Proficiency in assembly and disassembly processes. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $79310.00 - $79310.00/yr. refer to EVP full benefits package for union facility Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Bartlett,IL.
