Description We are looking for a skilled Attorney to join our client's team in Macomb County, Michigan. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in civil and municipal law to handle complex cases effectively. This role requires an individual with strong attention to detail, extensive litigation experience, and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal representation. Responsibilities: u2022 Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies. u2022 Manage and oversee all aspects of civil and municipal litigation cases. u2022 Prepare, draft, and file motions, briefs, and other legal documents. u2022 Take and defend depositions to gather evidence and build strong cases. u2022 Represent clients in court hearings and proceedings with professionalism. u2022 Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal advice. u2022 Handle discovery processes, including gathering, reviewing, and organizing evidence. u2022 Develop effective legal arguments and strategies to achieve favorable outcomes. u2022 Work closely with colleagues to ensure cases are handled efficiently. Requirements u2022 Must possess a valid license to practice law in the state of Michigan. u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation. u2022 Proven ability to draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents. u2022 Strong knowledge of discovery processes and legal research techniques. u2022 Excellent oral and written communication skills. u2022 Ability to manage multiple cases and meet tight deadlines. u2022 Adept at taking and defending depositions.
