Finishing Techinician

Job Title: Finishing Technician, $17-19 Job Description Finish Technicians play a crucial role in the final stages of trailer construction, ensuring that trailers are complete and ready for shipment. Working from the paint department onward, you will assemble the structure of the trailer by adding necessary parts such as wiring, hydraulic lines, decals, and axle assemblies. Experience in electrical wiring or hydraulic line hookup is not required. Responsibilities + Install brake lines and wiring components based on a kit assembly list. + Screw axles onto the base of the trailer. + Utilize basic hand and power tools. + Place decals and reflectors onto trailers. + Maintain a clean work station. + Work in a two-person team, with one focusing on finishing installations like airlines, rubber hoses, and electrical wiring, and the other as an air brake technician or mechanic. Essential Skills + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Ability to lift 50+ pounds consistently. + Job tenure of 1-2 years. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Electrical wiring experience. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience or knowledge in welding, specifically spot welding. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgman, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
