Quality Technician

Description Position summary: Conducts routine and non-routine chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. Updates and maintains analysis spreadsheets for raw materials, intermediate, and finished products. Tasks: u2022 Conducts routine and non-routine analysis on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. u2022 Collects, analyzes, and interprets data related to quality, identifying trends, and reporting findings to the Quality Manager. u2022 Creates and maintains Quality Control Analysis procedures. u2022 Maintains laboratory equipment and laboratory supplies. u2022 Assists Quality Manager with ISO and Environmental related activities. u2022 Adheres to all safety procedures and uses all required personal protective equipment. u2022 Upholds the safety and quality standard of the Company. u2022 Other duties assigned by management. Physical Requirements: u2022 Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs. frequently u2022 Must be able to stand for long periods of time (>3 hrs continuously.) u2022 Must be able to walk frequently. u2022 Must be able to bend, reach, squat, stoop, and kneel to floor level frequently. Education and Experience u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in a related field or equivalent of 4+ yearsu2019 work experience in a Quality Control/Quality Assurance Role. u2022 Previous Lab experience preferred but not required. Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Griffin, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
