If youu2019re skilled at reading blueprints and laying clean, consistent beads on thin sheet metal, this is an excellent longu2011term opportunity. This is a custom welding environment, not repetitive productionu2014expect variety, craftsmanship, and the chance to work on different projects daily. Responsibilities + Perform MIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel (16u2011gauge or thinner) + Conduct TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel (16u2011gauge or thinner) + Read, interpret, and follow welding blueprints with precision + Lay highu2011quality beads on thin sheet metal in preparation for dispatch + Adapt to a wide range of custom welding projects each day + Manage weld temperatures to prevent warping on thin materials Essential Skills + Strong proficiency in both MIG and TIG welding + Handsu2011on experience with thinu2011gauge sheet metal (16u2011gauge or thinner) + Ability to read and work from blueprints + Comfortable working with stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel + Detailu2011oriented with the ability to produce clean, consistent welds Additional Skills & Qualifications + Prior experience in a sheet metal fabrication shop is highly beneficial + Structural welders may find this challenging due to the thinness of materials + Ideal for candidates who enjoy variety rather than repetitive production work + Strong adaptability and craftsmanship mindset Why This Is a Great Direct Placement Role This is not a contractu2011tou2011hire position, you are hired directly by the company from day one.
