About the Role The Solderer will perform a variety of production operations involving soldering, assembly, chemical handling, and interpretation of technical documentation. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow established procedures, and a commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities + Perform production operations according to manufacturing documentation, verbal instructions, and department procedures. + Interpret and follow drawings, travelers, specifications, and other technical documentation. + Complete assignments accurately, thoroughly, and with strong attention to detail. + Handle, apply, store, and dispose of chemical materials such as adhesives, sealants, resins, solders, fluxes, and solvents. + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. + Meet or exceed productivity, quality, and safety standards. + Participate in crossu2011training and support skill transfer within the team. + Clean parts using solvents, abrasive materials, ultrasonic cleaners, and compressed air. + Support production activities in plating, clean room, stock room, and assembly areas as needed. + Perform multiple soldering operations, including soldering lead wires to rings, connectors, and contacts. + Operate equipment, machinery, and common hand tools required for production processes. Required Skills & Qualifications + Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. + Ability to interact professionally with peers and supervisors. + Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings. + Basic computer skills and ability to use menuu2011driven software. + Ability to follow workplace rules and safety procedures. + Ability to work safely around hazardous chemicals and conditions. + Ability to use stripping tools, wire cutters, soldering equipment, degreasers, and related tools (preferred). + Successful completion of IPC Solder Training & Certification within the first 3 weeks of employment, with a defect rate of 5% or less.
