ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to): u00b7 Availability by telephone for consultation. u00b7 As requested, provide consultations for NEBH in patients with psychiatric needs. u00b7 Attend patient care conferences when requested. u00b7 Consult via telephone with Nursing, Case Management, Medical Staff and Affiliated Medical Staff as requested. u00b7 Answer pages from NEBH by telephone within 60 minutes (Monday to Friday 7: 30 a.m. -6: 00 p.m.) u00b7 Provide NEBH with vacation/travel schedule. u00b7 Arrange phone coverage when not available because of vacation/travel. u00b7 When requested, provide on-site consultation within 24 hours of requested consultation. u00b7 1 hour education conferences every 4 months for members of the Hospitalist Service (hospitalists, nurse practitioners and physician assistants). QUALIFICATIONS: u00b7 Valid Massachusetts MD licensure u00b7 Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry PREFERRED EDUCATION: MD / DO or equivalent Pay Range: $100.00 - $200.00 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation may be determined based on several factors, that may include education, training, relevant experience, specialty, geography of work location, productivity, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
