HIRING FORKLIFT OPERATOR - $23 - $25.50/HR Job Description As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in managing the efficient movement of freight. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading inbound and outbound freight, sorting according to size and destination, and ensuring the accurate reconciliation of driver pick-up and delivery manifests. Morning Shift- $23/hr Night Shift- $25.50/hr 12 Hour Shift Schedules 1A 5am-5:30pm SMTW/SMT 1B 5am-5:30pm WTFS/TFS 2A 5pm-5:30am SMTW/SMT 2B 5pm-5:30am WTFS/TFS Responsibilities + Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers. + Unload inbound and outbound containers and sort according to size of freight and destination. + Read, decode, and decipher freight coding to expedite freight movement and tracing process. + Reconcile driver pick-up and delivery manifests. + Label, weigh, and dimensionalize freight. + Perform cleanup activities in the work area to ensure safety and cleanliness of the dock. + Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reports. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Independence, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
