Experience with PowerPurchase Agreements, Interconnection Agreements (generators,transmission, and load), Large Load matters, electric serviceagreements, transmission service matters, and other industry specifictransactions is required.Qualified candidates will have:- A JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school;- Four to six years of energy transactional experience;- Minnesota, Arizona, or Utah bar admission or the ability to becomeadmitted in Minnesota, Arizona, or Utah;- Excellent communication and writing skills;- Strong academic performanceApplicants with FERC and/or state regulatory experience are preferred.For Minneapolis applicants only, the salary range for this position is$245,000 - $285,000. Pay is determined based on a variety of factorsincluding, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area.The individual hired for this position may have the option of electing alower billable-hours track with a proportional reduction in salary.Associates are eligible to participate in Dorseys associate bonusprogram, subject to the programs conditions and restrictions.Dorsey offers a collaborative and dynamic environment, with competitivecompensation and excellent benefits.
