The ideal candidate will provide support to the government.This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) PolygraphResponsibilities include:u2022 Disassemble, assemble, and repair furniture and systems furnitureu2022 Manage furniture warehouse inventory to include modular furniture, stick furniture, artand branding items, chairs, and repair partsu2022 Track furniture warranties and communication issues/concerns with SIOI leadershipu2022 Coordinate and track all warranty repairs as requiredu2022 Develop and maintain warehouse inventory in ARCHIBUS. Conduct semi-annualaudits to ensure inventory data is accurateu2022 Provide monthly inventory status updates and restock recommendations to SIOIleadershipu2022 Install/move furniture in support of small-sized SIOI projects as directed bygovernmentu2022 Sponsor/escort furniture repair technicians and exterior furniture installers as needed in support of major SIOI projectsu2022 Process and complete furniture Work Orders (WOs) within 5 business days of receiptfrom the Workforce Support Center (WSC). WOs may include, but are not limited to,moving furniture (system and free standing), replacing monitor support arms, movingfile cabinets, and assembling furniture. Coordinate WO completion with the WSC andinclude technicianu2019s notes describing work performed. Any WOs not completed within5 business days must have revised estimated completion dates coordinated throughSIOI and customers by the 6th business day and then be tracked until completion orfurther revision in coordination with SIOI/customers.u2022 Furniture technicians will have access to powered and manual lifts in support of theirduties and shall be able to demonstrate their experience in the operation of manual andpower lifts IAW client safety policies and industry standards#LI-IR1 u2022 Add Certified Price Modern furniture installer preferred, or other furniture-relatedcertifications (e.g., Knoll, Steelcase, Encore/Arcadia)u2022 Demonstrated experience in understanding/interpreting construction drawings as relatedto carpentry/furniture installationu2022 Demonstrated experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite such as building spreadsheets,consolidating input across various offices, and edit/update as neededu2022 Demonstrated ability to manage/track furniture inventory in IWMS system such asARCHIBUS- This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) PolygraphJacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
