VP Finance & Operations

Description We are looking for a dynamic and experienced VP of Finance & Operations to lead, oversee, and enhance our financial, operational, and administrative functions in Dallas, Texas. This role will require a strategic thinker with a proven track record in accounting, compliance, human resources, IT management, and data analytics. The ideal candidate will drive organizational success through leadership, innovation, and commitment to operational excellence. Responsibilities: u2022 Lead and execute financial accounting tasks, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and supporting documents. u2022 Manage the development and implementation of the organizationu2019s annual capital and administrative budget. u2022 Oversee compliance with accounting standards, legal requirements, and internal policies, ensuring efficient execution of all accounting functions. u2022 Supervise the annual financial audit process and maintain communication with auditors to address organizational changes. u2022 Direct human resources operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws. u2022 Partner with IT contractors to manage technology systems, cybersecurity measures, and digital transformation initiatives. u2022 Guide the organizationu2019s data analytics efforts, fostering a culture of evidence-based decision-making and ensuring data integrity. u2022 Develop and maintain reliable cash flow projections and reporting mechanisms to meet operational needs. u2022 Provide strategic financial insights and budget analyses to the leadership team and Board of Directors. u2022 Manage vendor relationships and optimize resource allocation across financial, HR, and IT functions. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in finance, accounting, and operations leadership roles, preferably in a senior executive capacity. u2022 Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting processes, and cash flow forecasting. u2022 Strong understanding of compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as accounting standards. u2022 Familiarity with human resources management, including policy development and employee engagement strategies. u2022 Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity protocols, and technology vendor management. u2022 Proficiency in data analytics and reporting, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies. u2022 Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments. u2022 Advanced proficiency in financial and operational software tools and systems.
