The FacilitiesMaintenance Technician III performs preventative and correctivemaintenance with minimal supervision on process, Facilities, equipmentand utilities such as clean steam, Purified water, Water for Injection(WFI) preventive maintenance of a wide range of mechanical equipment andpiping systems including, but not limited Freeze Dryers, Fill Finishequipment and clean utilities. Other equipment to includeagitators/mixers, autoclaves, parts washers, and various sanitary designpumps and valves within a cleanroom environment. Further duties mayinclude operating powered industrial trucks, performing preventative andcorrective maintenance to complex utility systems which may includeHeating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), plant steam,refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, compressed air and gases, and/orother Biotech/pharmaceutical utilities. This position works closely withEngineers, Technicians, and Manufacturing personnel. Essential Dutiesand Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individualmust be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Theessential duties and responsibilities include the following but otherduties may be assigned. Responsibilities include, but are not limited toPromote a safe working environment by following all PCI safetyprocedures. Perform highly diversified duties like install,troubleshoot, repair and maintain utilities, production, and facilityequipment in accordance with the site safety principles, predictive, andproduction maintenance systems and processes in order to achieve thesite's goals and objectives. Performs defined PM activities underminimal supervision, may provide guidance to other peers and juniorFacilities Maintenance team members. Proactively Conduct routineinspections to ensure no adverse events have occurred around the FSUEand to keep the facilities equipment and utilities in inspection/auditready state. Provide troubleshooting, repair and maintenance servicesfor production related systems and components including high vacuum,process water, cooling, hydraulics, pneumatics, remote and PLC/HMIinterfaces.
