JOB REQUIREMENTS: Summary Ek is expanding into our newest location inMadison. We are looking for a Wet Painter who is looking to join a greatteam with lots of advancement opportunities. The successful candidatewill paint parts to meet customer and internal quality requirements byperforming the following duties. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned. This position canexecute the following job functions under the supervision of a Class APainter: Properly mask, cover and protect all surfaces that will not bepainted. Understand and recognize proper substrate preparation. Abide byall safety rules and requirements. Pre-clean and rinse parts beforemedia blasting. Apply primers by airless spray to meet the establishedquality standards and requirements. Perform media blasting to meet theestablished quality standards. Apply stripe coats of primer toappropriate locations to meet the established quality standards andrequirements. Correct non-compliant work when it is observed and performcorrective measures to bring the work back into compliance. Maintain andclean all spray equipment to keep it in order. Understand and executethe proper mixing and thinning of all primers and topcoats. Understandand abide by all quality control hold points. Cleans and organizes workarea.
