Job Title: Medical AssistantJob Description The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in the operations of our clinic. You will act as a scribe for the provider and assist with all necessary duties while promoting a friendly and efficient environment for patients, staff, and providers. You will be responsible for rooming patients, assisting with procedure preparations, and working within Electronic Medical Records systems. Additionally, you will use the Eclipse scheduling database and MediNotes systems. Responsibilities + Act as a scribe for the provider during patient consultations. + Assist in rooming patients and preparing them for procedures. + Work efficiently within Electronic Medical Records systems. + Use Eclipse scheduling database and MediNotes systems for appointments. + Promote a friendly and efficient environment for patients, staff, and providers. Essential Skills + At least 1 year of Medical Assistant or LPN experience. + Proficiency with electronic health records and appointment scheduling. + Ability to train and work in a fast-paced dermatology clinic. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Previous experience in a dermatological setting is a plus but not required. + Experience as a surgical tech, EMT, or in medical assisting is beneficial. Work Environment The position is based in the Milwaukee Clinic with a part-time schedule: Tuesday 8 am - 4 pm, Wednesday 12:30 pm - 4 pm, and Thursday 8 am - 4 pm. For those seeking full-time hours, there is an option to float to other local clinics on Mondays and Fridays. The role offers a permanent position, turning into a contract-to-hire if performance criteria are met. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Milwaukee, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
