FTE: 0.500000 Standard Hours: 20.00 Shift: Shift 1 Shift Details:This position will fill varying shifts between the hours of 0630-1700,Monday through Friday. Holiday and Weekend inpatient rotation will alsobe included in this position's schedule. Job Summary: Responsible formonitoring, evaluating, and educating patients receiving IntensiveCardiac Rehabilitation (ICR), Cardiac Rehabilitation (CR), PulmonaryRehabilitation (PR), and Supervised Exercise Therapy for PeripheralArtery Disease (SET for PAD), chronic disease management, and primaryand secondary prevention programming. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Internshipin a cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program is preferred. EDUCATIONDESCRIPTION: Bachelor's degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology orrelated field is required. Masters Degree in Clinical ExercisePhysiology or related field is preferred. TRAINING DESCRIPTION:Participation in State and/or National Professional Organizationpreferred. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: ACSM Exercise Specialist and/orRegistered Clinical Exercise Physiologist certification preferred.American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the HealthcareProvider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days.American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) isrequired within one year of hire.
