Summary About the Position: Serve as Chief, Business Management Division, for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Great Lakes and Ohio RIver Division, Headquarters in Cincinnati, OH. Responsibilities Plan, organize, and direct the operations of the Business Management Office. Oversee the development and implementation of strategic plans in support of the Programs and Project Management Business Process. Manage regional governance, planning, outreach, quality assurance programs, and other business-related functions. Conduct broad research and analysis into strategic initiatives to explore alternatives and concepts for developing recommended changes to the Division's strategic direction. Provide the full breadth of technical and administrative supervision. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service which includes advising on project management, strategic planning, and business development to include development of near and long-term strategies and methods for institutionalization and sustainment; developing and implementing strategic plans in support of the Programs and Project Management Business Process; and conducting research and analysis into strategic initiatives to explore alternatives and concepts for developing changes to an organizations strategic direction. Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
