Dedicated to addressing a variety of behavioral, emotional and learning problems, we provide a continuum of care from outpatient counseling to residential treatment. Job Summary: The Program Supervisoru2019s primary function is to provide oversight of leadership, programming, and supervision of all activities and program staff. Under the direction of the Director of Residential Services and in collaboration with the Clinical Program Manager, the Program Supervisor takes primary responsibility for supervising, planning, organizing, coordinating, and implementing all non-clinical activities.u00a0 The Program Supervisor will function as a member of a multi-disciplinary team; he/she will foster and maintain professional relationships with referral sources, external providers, and family members. Essential Duties: + Responsible for the management, leadership, and supervision of the program.u00a0 Develops, implements, and supervises strategies and activities to meet the goals and objectives established for the program, staff, and clients.u00a0 Reviews and updates programming, including revisions of Program Manual as needed. + Directly supervises Cottage Supervisors, Assistant Cottage Supervisors, Shift Supervisor, and all Treatment Specialists.u00a0 Directly observes and supervises direct care staff in the milieu and provides teachable moments.u00a0 Ensures programming, routines, and structure are consistently implemented. + Assigns and reviews work of all staff to ensure success.u00a0 Uses supervision to provide feedback on successes and/or disciplinary action as needed.u00a0 Ensures annual performance evaluations are completed. u00a0Recommends wage adjustments, promotions, and discipline as needed. + Ensures staff comply with Agency and departmental policy and procedure.u00a0 Ensures staff are current with Agency trainings. + Interviews and recommends hiring of job applicants. + Responsible for on-call duties.u00a0 Responsible for carrying, answering, and maintaining Agency cell phone.u00a0 Provides 24-hour emergency crisis management/intervention, including coverage assistance as needed.u00a0 + Responsible for staff schedule, managing call-offs, and ensuring adequate shift coverage.u00a0 + Reviews and approves employee timesheets and PTO requests. + Ensures fiscal responsibility and budget management, including managing the use of overtime. + Functions as the Petty Cash custodian. + Ensures that environmental rounds are consistently conducted.u00a0 Monitors the overall condition of grounds, buildings, facilities, and equipment and completes Maintenance requests as needed.u00a0 Monitors unit to ensure that treatment environment is being maintained in accordance with licensing rules and regulations, including mental health, health, fire safety, etc.u00a0 + Ensures all documentation is completed per Agency standards, including MUIs, Incident Reports, separation and safety plans, evacuation drills, and bed days reports.u00a0 Ensures completion of all program documents, including floor plans, shift reports, bedtime logs, monthly personal care progress notes, and outing supervision forms.u00a0 Responsible for reviewing and processing incident reports. + Facilitates weekly team meetings and weekly leadership meetings in collaboration with the Clinical Program Manager.u00a0 Participates in Clinical Rounds and client review meetings. + Actively exhibits teamwork and professionalism by example and actions in all areas of management.u00a0 Develops and maintains collaborative and cooperative professional relationships with all levels of internal staff members, including Health Clinic, Environmental Services, Maintenance, Food Services, Clinical Services, Orchard for Boys, Support, and Agency staff in other Divisions.u00a0 Works cooperatively with Wingspan Care Group staff. + In collaboration with the Clinical Program Manager, ensures all client rights and needs are met.u00a0u00a0 Other Duties: + Attends scheduled staff meetings, supervision, committee meetings, external program meetings, and on-going training. u00a0u00a0u00a0 + All required trainings, certifications, and licensure must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards. + Respects the privacy of clients and holds in confidence all information obtained during the clientu2019s treatment.u00a0 + All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material. + Maintains high standards of ethical and professional conduct, adheres to Agency policies and procedures, and ensures program staff adhere to the same standards. + Other duties as assigned by management.
