SAP BW / 4 HANA Consultant

Job Description Weu2019re looking for an onsite Application Management Support (AMS) resource to run day-to-day support and small enhancements for a SAP BW/4HANA (Business Warehouse for HANA) landscape, coordinate with offshore delivery, and ensure business-critical reporting continuityu2014especially during month-end/quarter-end/year-end close. Key responsibilities Service management & delivery ownership u2022u2003Manage client stakeholders and the offshore team to maintain business continuity and stable operations. u2022u2003Own ServiceNow queue hygiene: monitor for unassigned Incidents (defects) and Service Requests / RITMs (Request Item) and drive assignment/triage. u2022u2003Prioritize and deliver Incidents and Changes/RITMs based on business criticality, SLAs, and release constraints. u2022u2003Lead readiness and hypercare planning for major milestones (month-end, quarter-end, year-end close), including staffing and proactive monitoring. Technical / functional ownership (BW & reporting) u2022u2003Ensure smooth operation of SAP BW/4HANA data models, loads, and reporting consumption. u2022u2003Support and govern BW-related development/enhancements including: ou2003BW ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) objects and fixes ou2003CDS Views (Core Data Services) usage and integration patterns ou2003Enterprise HANA / SAP HANA performance and data consistency considerations u2022u2003Own reporting support for SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ): ou2003Web Intelligence (Webi) ou2003Analysis for Office (AO) Integration & data quality operations u2022u2003Ensure data synchronization between SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP systems (including flat-file based feeds) is running reliably. u2022u2003Monitor, troubleshoot, and coordinate resolution for failed/partial loads and reconciliation gaps. Housekeeping & risk control u2022u2003Perform/coordinate housekeeping activities such as change request deletion/cleanup and general backlog hygiene. u2022u2003Maintain operational documentation and knowledge transfer (runbooks, SOPs, recurring issue notes). Mini project / upgrade support u2022u2003Support an ongoing upgrade mini project (planning, coordination, cutover readiness, defect triage, and stabilization).
