DescriptionWe are looking for a highly motivated Senior Program Manager for Macro Space Analytics to join the Whole Foods Market Macro Space Analytics and Floorplanning team. As a Senior Program Manager for Macro Space Analytics, you will help shape the future of Whole Foods stores with data-driven space allocation recommendations influencing new stores, remodels, and new store formats to maximize sales and profitability. You will develop strategic insights connecting space analytics to business impact while serving as a trusted partner to the Floorplanning, Design and Merchandise Presentation teams. Additionally, you will partner with Merchandising Capabilities and Product and Data Science to strengthen and evolve foundational space data and tools. Key job responsibilities u2022 Translate macro space data and analysis into actionable business insights for diverse stakeholders u2022 Build and maintain partnerships enabling Store Design and Floorplanning teams to execute merchant space strategy u2022 Lead u201ctest & learnu201d initiatives that create strong frameworks for measuring outcomes and quantifying the impact of space changes on financial and operational metrics u2022 Act as a macro space thought leader, driving alignment on space data/definitions and analytical methodologies among stakeholders u2022 Collaborate with Merchandising Product and Capabilities to define the roadmap and requirements for macro space mechanisms and tools u2022 Partner with Data Science teams to develop advanced space optimization methods Basic Qualifications- 5+ years of program or project management experience - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership - Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of equivalent experience - Experience providing and effectively communicating strategic and tactical recommendations based on data - Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data solutions such as SQL and Quick Suite (or comparable BI tool)Preferred Qualifications- Experience with retail space planning/analytics and floor planning tools - In-store Retail and Operations experience - Project management experience and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders - Experience with identifying data needs and articulating requirements to internal partners (e.g. Product Management, Data Engineering, Data Science) - Intellectual curiosity and a creative analytical mind with strong attention to detail Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
