Mammography Technologist - McLaren Careers

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, operates x-ray equipment to perform mammograms; develops film and completes paperwork. Responsibilities: + Assists in breast biopsy proceduresto include needle localizations, stereotactic biopsies, and ductograms. + Instructs and positions patients to obtainacceptable radiographs of diagnostic quality. + Ensures work area meets appropriate standards ofsafety, equipment supply and cleanliness levels. + Manually enters data ensuring proper preparationfor dictation and billing.
