Job Description The role demands enterprise-level leadership across reliability, safety, regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, community engagement, and long-term capacity strategy to ensure OCIu2019s infrastructure platform delivers industry-leading uptime, security, efficiency, and scalability. This position reports into senior OCI infrastructure leadership and serves as a key executive interface across design, construction, engineering, cloud operations, finance, compliance, and executive stakeholders. Scope & Scale of Responsibility u00b7 Multi-GW hyperscale campus in NA, travel is required and up to 50% at timess u00b7 300+ direct and indirect reports across multiple campuses u00b7 24/7 mission-critical operations u00b7 Oversight of NNN lease performance and landlord relationships u00b7 Capital planning partnership for expansion and lifecycle refresh u00b7 Enterprise incident command authority for major facility events Responsibilities Enterprise Operations Leadership u00b7 Provide executive oversight of all data center facility operations, including power distribution, cooling infrastructure, life safety systems, BMS, EPMS, and environmental monitoring. u00b7 Drive operational excellence across uptime performance, preventive maintenance execution, reliability engineering, and lifecycle asset management. u00b7 Establish standardized operating frameworks across geographically distributed campuses. Reliability & Risk Management u00b7 Serve as executive incident commander for major facility events. u00b7 Lead root cause analysis (RCA), corrective action planning, and systemic reliability improvements. u00b7 Implement portfolio-wide risk mitigation programs aligned with hyperscale cloud expectations. u00b7 Maintain compliance with SOC2, ISO, local AHJs, environmental and safety regulations. Financial & Capacity Stewardship u00b7 Partner with finance and infrastructure leadership on multi-year capacity planning, operating budgets, and capital forecasting. u00b7 Drive cost optimization across utilities, contracts, service providers, and asset lifecycle strategy. u00b7 Implement KPI dashboards measuring reliability, efficiency (PUE), cost per MW, and SLA adherence. NNN Lease & Strategic Vendor Governance u00b7 Act as senior executive interface with landlords under NNN agreements. u00b7 Ensure lease compliance, performance transparency, and enforcement of service level obligations. u00b7 Lead strategic vendor management and contract performance across third-party operators. u00b7 Establish governance mechanisms to protect OCIu2019s operational standards in leased environments. Commissioning & Expansion Integration u00b7 Partner with design and construction teams to ensure seamless transition from commissioning to steady-state operations. u00b7 Oversee acceptance testing, integrated systems testing (IST), and operational readiness validation. u00b7 Build operational frameworks scalable to future GW expansion. Talent & Organizational Leadership u00b7 Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing technical organization of ~500 professionals. u00b7 Recruit and retain top industry talent across operations, engineering, and leadership roles. u00b7 Build leadership succession planning and technical capability development programs. u00b7 Foster a culture of safety, accountability, innovation, and operational discipline. Community & Regulatory Engagement u00b7 Serve as executive representative with local communities, regulators, utilities, and government stakeholders. u00b7 Drive operational transparency and positive external relationships in hyperscale markets. u00b7 Ensure environmental stewardship and compliance across all jurisdictions. Cross-Functional Executive Collaboration u00b7 Partner with Cloud Operations, Security, Compliance, Engineering, and Construction leadership to ensure infrastructure readiness for AI and high-density workloads. u00b7 Influence long-term design standards based on operational learnings. u00b7 Contribute to enterprise-level strategy for OCI global expansion. Qualifications u00b7 15+ years in mission-critical data center or large-scale industrial operations leadership. u00b7 Demonstrated experience leading large distributed technical teams (300u2013500+ personnel). u00b7 Deep expertise in electrical and mechanical sequence of operations for Tier III/IV or hyperscale facilities. u00b7 Executive-level experience managing NNN lease relationships and landlord governance. u00b7 Proven incident management leadership in mission-critical environments. u00b7 Experience overseeing multi-site portfolios exceeding 1 GW preferred. u00b7 Strong executive presence with demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional senior leadership. u00b7 Working knowledge of Uptime Institute, ASHRAE, ISO, SOC2, and North American regulatory frameworks. u00b7 Experience in cloud or hyperscale infrastructure operations strongly preferred. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range in USD from: $184,400 to $394,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
