How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) ThisEngineer position operates within the Delta TechOpsu2019 Repair EngineeringOrganization. This position providestechnical support for turbofan engine MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul)activities in one or more areas; Shop Repair/Support or Scrap Recovery/MRB. Responsibilitiesinclude: + Work directly with engine maintenance, engineering teammembers, and engineering management to develop repair and process solutions forturbofan engine components. + Develop relationships and work with outside repairvendors to develop repairs and identify savings opportunities for turbofanengine components. + Define scope of work for development projects, includingequipment, tooling and labor requirements. + Establish and maintain schedules that achieve definedobjectives. + Collaborate with Deltau2019s SMEs and ODAs to developsubstantiation and regulatory compliance plans. + Organize and/or prepare all relevant reports, drawings,and engineering authorizations for assigned projects. What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) + Excellent written and verbal communication skills;multi-tasking abilities; proven results-orientation; and strong analytical, organizationaland time management skills. + Strong interpersonal and relationshipmanagement skills, with the ability to influence and gain support via mutualrespect. + Strong adaptability skills with anychanging priorities. + Basic Computer skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) + Compensation and title based upon experience level. + Consistentlyprioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. + Embracesdiverse people, thinking, and styles. + Possessesa high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. + Isat least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
