Job Description The purpose of this position is to apply a general understanding of architectural principles as listed. This role has the responsibility to promote Fluoru2019s competitiveness within the global marketplace by delivering quality services of unmatched value and technical competence. This position supports the Architectural Area Lead or Lead on assigned projects and performs routine aspects of architectural assignments, applying basic architectural principles. u2022 Develop and review project Scope of Services, Scope of Facilities, and other project baseline documents for all phases of projects u2022 Develop estimates, schedules, progress reports, and key quantities tracking reports u2022 Monitor material estimates and quantities u2022 Participate in equipment and material procurement activities u2022 Perform and check basic architectural design and calculations, specify simple equipment, and solve problems of simple technical complexity u2022 Review vendor equipment documentation within the discipline and from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements, and actively seek discrepancy resolution u2022 Other duties as assigned Basic Job Requirements u2022 Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and one (1) year of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to five (5) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements u2022 Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors u2022 Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job u2022 Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines u2022 Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner Other Job Requirements Preferred Qualifications u2022 Basic knowledge of discipline codes and standards, commercial availability and cost of materials, means and methods of construction. u2022 Practical field experience u2022 Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheet and electronic presentation programs. u2022 Ability to use discipline specific software may be required We are an equal opportunity employer. Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidateu2019s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
