The Infrastructure Division supports the safe, secure, efficient, operation and the five-star service of the three HAS airports. This support is done through effective asset management, project controls, design management, project management, construction management, and commissioning. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The Senior Staff Analyst, reporting to the Division Manager, Infrastructure Quality Controls, and situated within the Houston Airports (HAS) Infrastructure Division's Project Controls business unit, is primarily responsible for integrating a robust Safety Risk Management (SRM) program across all HAS Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects. This position holds a pivotal role in the strategic oversight and risk management of the Houston Airports' diverse capital projects portfolio. The core function is to establish comprehensive processes, programs, and best practices designed to effectively identify, prevent, mitigate, and minimize operational and financial risks, thereby safeguarding airport assets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining operational efficiency and financial integrity. Leveraging extensive experience in maintaining and updating the risk register, the Senior Staff Analyst will provide precise categorization, rigorous prioritization, and clear assignment of risk ownership for all identified hazards. Furthermore, this position will help to implement risk reporting, communication, and consultation.
