Job DescriptionThe Career Technical Education (CTE) Workforce Readiness Coordinator supports CTE through the development of services for students participating in CTE. The position works collaboratively with administrators, student support personnel, and teachers to ensure the delivery of career technical education; facilitates linkages with parents, business/industry, postsecondary institutions, and community organizations to support students' transition to postsecondary education and employment; and assists with ensuring program quality and compliance.Required Certificates and Licenses: None requiredResidency Requirement - Ohio residenceThe salary for this position will be $50,000 along with the opportunity to earn an annual bonus.K12, a Stride Company, believes in Education for ANY ONE. The position works collaboratively with administrators, student support personnel, and teachers to ensure the delivery of career technical education; facilitates linkages with parents, business/industry, postsecondary institutions, and community organizations to support students' transition to postsecondary education and employment; and assists with ensuring program quality and compliance.Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential structional: Assists with the support of daily operations of the CTE program Assists with the recruitment and retention of students in the CTE program Assists with activities that ensure program compliance at the school and state levels-including work-based learning tracking and post-program placement data collection Collaborate with CTE program administration, other support staff, teachers, and students Development and implementation of program expansion and student outreach plan through cross-departmental information sessions Develops and facilitates career skill development workshops Supports student attainment of the OMJ Readiness Seal Develops work-based learning simulation opportunities for CTE program Facilitates the CTE mentoring program Participates in professional development activities at the local, regional, state, and national levels; Engages in professional growth opportunities to remain current with trends, demands, and emerging careers in a rapidly changing workforce Assists with identifying job placements for CTE pathway students Assists with student input for WebXams and CTSOs Assists with the management of program related purchase ordersSupervisory Responsibilities:This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.Minimum Required Qualifications: Bachelor's DApply here:
