Summary This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Responsibilities This position is located within Outpatient Mental Health, Nursing Service at the main campus- Phoenix VA Healthcare System in Phoenix, AZ The Interventional Psychiatry (IP) RN is a skilled professional responsible and accountable for the management of patients undergoing interventional psychiatry treatments, including but not limited to Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS), Esketamine/Ketamine (Nasal/Intravenous) Within the framework of the nursing process and through developed clinical experience and navigation expertise, the IP RN will anticipate and implement preventive as well as measurement based patient care measures (i.e., PHQ-9, C-SSRS) Prioritize responsibilities and ensure appropriate plans of care are implemented according to the standards of regulatory agencies, such as TJC, OSHA, and other appropriate profession nursing organizations Coordinates with team daily task management of Interventional Psychiatry Program. Consults with professional staff within the other specialty programs in the Mental Health Service May conduct telework appointments either to a clinic (i.e. telehealth) or to the patient's device (i.e. VA Video Connect).
