Journeyman Sheet Metal Installer- $25-32 Commercial & Industrial HVAC Construction If youu2019re a seasoned sheet metal professional who takes pride in clean installs, precise craftsmanship, and leading crews to success, we want you on our team. Weu2019re looking for a Journeyman/Foreman Sheet Metal Installer who thrives in fast-paced commercial environments, knows ductwork like the back of their hand, and brings a positive, canu2011do attitude to the job site every day. This is a role for someone who knows the trade, owns their tools, and is ready to make a meaningful impact on every project they touch. What Youu2019ll Do As a key player on the mechanical installation team, youu2019ll take on a variety of responsibilities, including: + Install hanging straps, rectangular and round ducting, spiral duct, uni-strut hangers, air-handlers, and ductless split systems . + Work comfortably from ladders, platforms, and scissor lifts . + Assist with material handling, jobu2011site cleanu2011up, trash removal , and other support tasks as needed. + Install mechanical assemblies such as flashing, piping, tubing, furnace casings, and HVAC components . + Choose correct sheet metal gauges and materials based on project specs. + Drill, punch, and prep metal for screws, bolts, rivets , and custom fittings. + Perform onsite fabrication or alterations using shears, hammers, punches, drills , and other tools. + Finish components by trimming, grinding, deburring, buffing, and smoothing seams and surfaces. + Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and duct layout diagrams to ensure accurate, highu2011quality installation. What You Bring + 5u201310+ years of experience as a Journeyman or Foreman Sheet Metal Installer. + Strong in commercial and industrial HVAC construction . + Proficiency in installing rectangular, square, round, and spiral ductwork . + Ability to read blueprints and execute mechanical builds with accuracy. + Solid understanding of HVAC installation methods and ductwork systems . + Good physical stamina and the ability to work in tight or awkward spaces. + Full set of sheet metal tools and installation equipment . + Valid driveru2019s license and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications + Trade school diploma or completion of a formal sheet metal apprenticeship . + OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (highly preferred). + Experience leading commercial construction projects from start to finish. + Ability to work independently or lead a team while maintaining productivity and quality. + Proven track record of delivering under tight deadlines without sacrificing workmanship. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Phoenix, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
