This position offers a dynamic blend of high-riskobstetric care, teaching, research, and regional outreach within acollaborative and supportive environment. As a full-time faculty member,you will contribute to the clinical, educational, and scholarly missionsof the department while caring for some of the highest-risk pregnanciesin the region. Clinical Responsibilities Include: Provide inpatient andoutpatient Maternal-Fetal Medicine services. Care for high-riskpregnancies and manage complex obstetric cases. Staff a busy antepartumservice. Provide consultative services for high-complexity cases.Participate in regional outreach clinics through UW Health RegionalServices, including in-person care at regional sites, telehealthservices, and collaboration with regional clinical teams. TheMaternal-Fetal Medicine Division performs approximately 19,000ultrasounds annually in a state-of-the-art diagnostic unit supported bymore than 20 sonographers. The division also includes awell-established, ADA-recognized diabetes in pregnancy program.Obstetric services have been primarily located at UnityPoint-MeriterHospital for more than three decades, with approximately 5,000deliveries annually in a modern facility that offers a collegial andsupportive work environment. Educational and Academic ResponsibilitiesInclude: Teach and provide clinical supervision to medical students,residents, and fellows. Participate in departmental and divisionalconferences. Engage in research, education, and advocacy initiativeswithin the department. Participate in quality improvement activities andhospital and departmental committees.
