FTE: 0.001000 Standard Hours: 0.01 Shift: Shift 4 ShiftDetails: Holidays: Weekends: Job Summary: Intern II: Students enrolledin the second year of an RT program are encouraged to apply forpositions that begin March/April 2026. To be considered, applicationsmust be received no later than February 2026. Flexible schedulingavailable to support your academic success. Performs basic respiratorycare duties as directed by the medical staff and in accordance with thehospital's objectives, policies and procedures. The individual willhave a preceptor identified prior to the start of each rotation forsupervision of duties. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:Successful completion of all first year clinical rotations forrespiratory therapy program is required. Must be and remain in goodstanding within the respiratory therapy program. Clinical experience inhospital, home care or skilled nursing facility is preferred. Member ofthe American Association for Respiratory Care/state Society forRespiratory Care is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Currently enrolledin an entry or advanced level accredited Respiratory Therapy Educationprogram is required. High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic LifeSupport for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalentis required within 90 days of hire.
