Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Syracuse, NY $110,000u2013$120,000/ Potential Sign-On Bonus Full-Time Mondayu2013Friday, 8:00 AMu20135:00 PM On-Call as Needed Skilled Nursing / High-Acuity LTC A high-acuity Skilled Nursing Facility in Syracuse, NY is seeking a strong RN leader to serve as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) . This role partners directly with the DON to oversee daily clinical operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen nursing leadership across all shifts. This is a structured growth opportunity designed to develop future Directors of Nursing within a clinically advanced setting. Hospital-Level Acuity Care for complex residents including vents, dialysis coordination, cardiac recovery, sub-acute rehab, and advanced wound programs. Key Responsibilities + Support oversight of all nursing services and maintain NYSDOH/CMS compliance + Ensure continuous survey readiness and assist with Plans of Correction + Manage staffing oversight, scheduling, and labor control + Provide hands-on floor leadership in high-acuity units + Lead and support QAPI initiatives targeting readmissions, infection control, falls, and quality metrics Qualifications + Active, unencumbered NY RN license + 2u20133+ years LTC/SNF experience + Prior supervisory or Unit Manager experience preferred + Strong NY DOH survey knowledge and MDS understanding + EHR proficiency (PointClickCare or SigmaCare preferred) Ideal for a visible, clinically strong RN leader ready for operational backing, long-term stability, and a clear pathway toward Director-level leadership.
