Apply Today Job Summary and Qualifications + You will provide leadership for the facilityu2019s Ethics and Compliance Program. In this leadership role, the ECO must encourage and stimulate a culture of ethical sensitivity and compliant behavior + You will assure that ethics and compliance standards, including the Code of Conduct and our policies and procedures, are properly communicated to each HCA colleague, agent and independent contractor in accordance with the requirements of his or her job or position within the facility; + You will assure that each colleague understands that he or she may raise concerns or report suspected violations of the Code, of policies and procedures, or of law or regulation to a supervisor, to any member of local management, the local ECO, or to the Corporate Ethics Line without fear of retribution + You will conduct independent investigations on ethics and compliance issues; advise colleagues on ethics and compliance matters; coordinate and support corporate monitoring and auditing procedures; review internal audit reports and investigation reports and assure that appropriate corrective and preventative actions have been taken; and identify trends related to ethics and compliance within the facility + This leadership role is not limited to facility colleagues. An ECO may from time-to-time interact with some of the non-employee stakeholders covered by the Code of Conduct; including patients, affiliated physicians, third-party payers, regulators, the communities served, suppliers, volunteers, shareholders, and in some cases, joint venture partners What qualifications you will need: + B.A. / B.S. required + 5 Years Managerial experience required + Additional significant experience in area of specialty is preferred Good Samaritan Hospital ( has been serving Silicon Valley since 1965, giving patient's access to highly-trained physicians and advanced technology.
