Smart Buildings Associate Energy Engineer

Job Family: Buildings Req ID: 496419 The Associate Energy Engineer primary responsibilityis driving growth in our Energy Services business by performing and supervisingfacility site visits/audits, analyzing the customeru2019s current situation, anddeveloping Facility Improvement Measures (FIMs). This position works closelywith Sales in the identification and qualification of Energy Services projectsand supports ongoing service agreements. As an Associate Energy Engineer, you will: + Perform preliminary facility auditsto identify Facility Improvement Measures. + Conduct facility site visits to understandbuilding function, operations, and areas for improvement. + Assist sales in identification and qualificationof potential Energy Services opportunities. + Support the development of preliminary and finalenergy services proposals. + Conduct analysis of building energy performancethrough utility bill data. + Support assessments of customer buildingperformance through analysis of information obtained from automation systems. + Effectively communicate findings for operationaland efficiency improvements to internal and external stakeholders. + Participate in client meetings andpresentations. + Support development efforts concerningrecommended measures, including scope of work descriptions, sequences ofoperation, savings potential, and cost estimates. + Perform energy calculations (such asweather-based BIN calculations). You will make an impact with these qualifications: Basic Qualiufb01cations: u00b7Bacheloru2019s degree in Engineering or relatedtechnical field u00b7Experience working within a team environment u00b7Experience with Microsoft Office u00b7 Ability to learn functionality of Siemensautomation software products u00b7 Verbal and writtencommunication skills in English u00b7Must be 21 years of age and possess avalid driver's license with limited violations u00b7Legally authorized to work in the United Stateson a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: u00b7Certified Energy Manager or ProfessionalEngineer certification u00b71+ Year of experience in the Energy industry u00b7 Basic knowledge of HVAC principles and design fundamentals u00b7 On-the-job or educational experience with standard ASHRAE energy calculations Ready to create your own journey?
