Optical Engineer II

TEKsystems is partnering with a client in Redmond, WA to hire an Optical Engineer focused on advancing nextu2011generation display system technologies for nearu2011eye consumer devices. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in novel integrated photonics device design, photonic device simulation, and electromagnetic modeling. This role involves driving research and development of photonic integrated circuits, performing detailed designu2011space exploration, and contributing to systemu2011level performance evaluation. Candidates should hold a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Optical Sciences, Physics, or a related field, with handsu2011on experience in photonic device characterization, PIC fabrication, and fabu2011aware design methodologies. This position offers the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative R&D environment developing beyondu2011stateu2011ofu2011theu2011art technologies. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
