You will use your strong blend of analytical skills, project management, presentation skills, and ability to develop strong and effective working relationships.You will work independently, and/or as part of a team of analysts, to identify new credit segmentation opportunities using statistical methods leading to enhancements to our credit decision process and policies, collections strategies, and fraud strategies. You will partner within members of the Credit Risk Management team and other functional teams in T-Mobile for the deployment, analysis and tracking of new credit strategies to manage risk.You manipulate large amounts of data, extract key insights from the data, and then clearly and concisely communicate actionable recommendations based upon your insights. In many cases, you will participate in projects at various stages from idea or hypothesis generation to development and/or implementation. You will be expected to contribute actively with creative and credit-focused ideas, to demonstrate problem solving skills and ownership aptitude. Unstoppable, TogetherResponsibilities:Utilize statistical segmentation techniques to identify new opportunitiesExtract, load and transform data from multiple sources necessary for statistical, reporting and ad-hoc analysisPerform qualitative and quantitative analysis of credit polices to meet given objectivesDevelop predictive financial and analytical models using the appropriate statistical methodologies, including trend and regression analysisParticipate and perform the analysis of new data and statistical products by external vendorsWork with credit bureau and alternative credit dataDeliver work output with full awareness and adherence to project timelines or agreed upon deadlinesEducation/Qualifications - Required:2-4 years experience in a qualitative analytical functionBachelor's Degree Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics or related degreeIntermediate or higher proficiency in SAS or other statistical/analytical programming languagesSuperior computer skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint requiredSuperior communication (spoken and written), organization and presentation skillsSuperior time management skills and awareness of project management methodsEducation/Qualifications - Desired:3+ years of quantitative analytic modeling experience, credit risk management or comparable process management experienceGraduate degree in a quantitative discipline a plusBasic proficiency in SQL, Python, R or other statistical software packagesPrior consumer risk management experience a plusWireless / Telecom experience a plus#LI-CorporateBase Pay Range: $76,100 - $137,300Corporate Bonus Target: 10%The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role.
