What Youu2019ll Be Working On Youu2019ll contribute directly to the fabrication and installation of complex piping systems used throughout naval vessels. This includes work with a range of metals, precision measurements, and fabrication tasks that demand strong craftsmanship and accuracy. Qualifications Needed + Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Pipefitter in marine, commercial nuclear, or petrochemical environments + Ability to read and interpret ship piping drawings + Handsu2011on experience with carbon steel, CRES, and copperu2011nickel piping + Skilled in installing pipe hangers and accurately reading a ruler in inches and tenths + Comfortable using grinders for cutting, prepping, and cleaning pipe + Ability to fabricate piping details and assemblies directly from drawings Core Responsibilities In this role, you will: + Read and interpret ship piping drawings for layout and installation + Fit and install carbon steel, CRES, and copperu2011nickel piping systems + Perform end prepping using hand tools or machines + Set and install pipe hangers with precision + Read and measure materials using inches and tenths + Prep and fit backing rings for welding + Cut, break, and clean pipe using a grinder + Handu2011prep Vu2011bevels for proper weld fit-up + Fabricate components and assemblies from engineering drawings + Bend pipe using templates and hand benders + Fit welded socket and brazed joints, with or without inserts Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Orlando, FL.
